Understanding Your Appliance Repair Warranty: What's Actually Covered
"Warranty" gets used loosely in the repair industry, and it's worth knowing what it actually means before you need to use one.
Our Warranty
Every Alpha & Omega repair comes with a standard 90-day warranty on both parts and labor. Select parts and jobs qualify for extended coverage of up to 5 years β your technician will confirm exact eligibility for your specific repair on-site, since it depends on the part and the job.
What a Repair Warranty Typically Covers
- The specific part that was replaced, if it fails again within the warranty period
- The labor for reinstalling or re-repairing that same issue
What It Typically Doesn't Cover
This is standard across the repair industry, not specific to any one company:
- A different, unrelated part failing later
- Damage from misuse, power surges, or flooding after the repair
- Normal wear-and-tear items outside the warranty window
How to Make the Most of Your Warranty
- Keep your receipt or invoice β it's your proof of the repair date and what was done
- If the same issue comes back, contact the company that did the original repair first
- Describe exactly what's happening again, and whether it matches the original problem
If something we repaired needs a second look within the warranty period, call or text us β we'll take care of it.
