Refrigerator, freezer, AC, range and dryer repair across Inglewood, the 1920sβ40s houses of Morningside Park and Fairview Heights, the postwar streets of Century Heights and Lockhaven, and the apartments from Downtown to Hollywood Park.

Inglewood is older than most of the South Bay around it. The oldest neighborhoods — Morningside Park, Fairview Heights, North Inglewood and the streets around Downtown and Market Street — are full of 1920s–40s Spanish-style houses and bungalows. The postwar years filled in Century Heights, Lockhaven, Inglewood Knolls and the blocks east toward Crenshaw with small single-story houses. And a large part of the city lives in apartments: older two-story buildings off Manchester, Florence and Centinela, and the new buildings that went up around SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome on the old Hollywood Park land.
That mix drives the repair calls. Kitchens designed around the appliances of the 1930s and 50s now hold full-size French-door refrigerators squeezed into alcoves and cabinet openings that were never meant for them. Many houses were built without air conditioning and cooled later with window units and mini-splits. And a lot of calls come from tenants whose refrigerator or range belongs to the building. Inglewood is only a few miles from the ocean, so most of the year is mild — the busy stretches are the late-summer heat waves when the marine layer stays away, and the first cold weeks of the year when the old wall and floor furnaces come back on.
An honest word about timing: Inglewood is about 45 miles from our Irvine shop up the 405. We run it on scheduled routes with Hawthorne, Culver City and Torrance — if a technician is already nearby, same day is realistic; otherwise we book the next day with a firm arrival window, and we tell you which on the phone.
We cover all five residential Inglewood ZIP codes — 90301, 90302, 90303, 90304 and 90305 — including Morningside Park, Fairview Heights, North Inglewood, Downtown and Market Street, Century Heights, Lockhaven, Inglewood Knolls, the neighborhoods around Hollywood Park and the stadium, the streets along the Crenshaw Boulevard corridor, and Lennox, which shares the 90304 ZIP. Restaurants, markets and hotel kitchens on Market Street, Manchester Boulevard, La Brea Avenue and Century Boulevard toward LAX are on the same route.
Samsung and LG are most of what we open in Inglewood kitchens. We are Factory Authorized for LG, Liebherr, Hisense and Zephyr, and our technicians are Samsung-certified (Samsung repair). We service Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, KitchenAid and Bosch every week, and our technicians are experienced with Sub-Zero, Viking, Thermador and Miele. Family-owned with 20+ years of experience, 5.0 on Yelp, EPA Section 608 technicians for refrigerant work, and a 90-day parts and labor warranty on every Inglewood repair. You are based in Irvine, do you really come to Inglewood?
Yes. Inglewood is on our regular South Bay and Westside routes together with Hawthorne, Culver City and Torrance. It is about 45 miles from our Irvine shop, so if a technician is already working nearby we can often come the same day; otherwise we book you the next day with a firm arrival window. Call or text (949) 267-7771 and we will tell you what is actually open.
I live near SoFi Stadium. Does an event day change anything?
It can. On game, concert and event days the streets around the stadium, the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome fill up and some are closed, so even a short drive across town can take a long time. Tell us when you book if there is an event that day, we will put you first on the route or pick a different day rather than leave you waiting.
My ice maker makes small, hollow cubes and the water dispenser is slow. What is wrong?
Usually the water supply, not the ice maker. The common causes are a water filter past its replacement date, a supply line that got kinked when the refrigerator was pushed back, an old saddle valve on the pipe that is clogged or only partly open, or low water pressure. Replace the filter and check the line behind the refrigerator first. If the cubes are still small, the water inlet valve or the ice maker itself is the next suspect, see ice maker not working.
The pilot on my wall furnace keeps going out. What should I do?
Do not keep relighting it over and over. A pilot that will not stay lit usually has a worn thermocouple, a dirty pilot orifice or a draft blowing it out, and all three are minor repairs. If you smell gas at any point, leave the house and call SoCalGas from outside first. We handle minor furnace service and repairs; if the unit needs replacing, that job goes to an installation contractor. See early HVAC warning signs.
How much does a repair cost in Inglewood, and is it guaranteed?
We give a free estimate over the phone, and the technician quotes on site before any work, nothing is done until you approve the price. Every repair carries a 90-day parts and labor warranty. If the appliance is old, read repair or replace before you decide, and this short checklist makes the visit faster.
