A few minutes of prep before your appointment usually means a faster, smoother visit — and sometimes a faster repair too.

Clear the Area

Make sure there's clear access to the appliance or HVAC unit — move stored items away from refrigerators, dryers, and outdoor condenser units so the technician can work without delay.

Know the Basics

• Brand and, if you have it, the model number (often on a sticker inside the door or on the back/side of the unit)
• Roughly how long the problem has been happening
• Whether it happens every time, or only sometimes

Note When It Happens

"It only makes the noise during the spin cycle" or "the AC only struggles in the afternoon" — small details like this often point straight to the cause and can save real diagnostic time.

Safety First

If you noticed a burning smell, sparking, or a gas odor, stop using the appliance immediately and don't attempt anything yourself before we arrive — just let us know when you call or text so we can advise you properly.
